Preparation

Flower Delivery & Care Instructions

For best results, please get your flowers to us within 2–3 days after your event.

Storing Your Flowers

  • Place flowers in water inside a refrigerator, if possible.

  • If a refrigerator is not available, keep them in a cool place (such as near an air conditioning vent).

  • If flowers are arranged in oasis foam, ensure the oasis stays wet.

  • Trim stems about ½ inch if possible to allow rehydration.

  • Keep flowers away from fruits and vegetables when stored in the refrigerator (produce releases gases that damage flowers).

⚠️ Do NOT place flowers in the freezer! Once frozen, flowers cannot be preserved.

Flower Drop Off to Preserve Your Florals

  • To schedule, please call or text 678-707-6747. Texting is encouraged if you can’t reach someone by phone.

  • Emails are not monitored as quickly.

  • We require a photo of your flowers in their current condition before drop-off to confirm they are suitable for preservation.

  • Please note: once flowers begin to brown, they can no longer be saved. In those cases, we may be able to replace the flower instead.

📦 Shipping Instructions for Live Flowers

1. Timing

  • Ship Overnight via FedEx or UPS Express so flowers arrive the next day.

  • Never ship on Fridays, Saturdays, or before a holiday — flowers can get stuck in warehouses over the weekend.

  • Flowers should be shipped within 1–3 days of the event (the fresher, the better).

2. Prepping the Flowers

  • Hydrate: Keep flowers in water until right before packing. If possible, trim stems about ½ inch so they drink before shipping.

  • Wrap stems in damp paper towels, then cover with plastic wrap or a floral stem bag to keep moisture in without leaking.

  • If flowers are in oasis foam, re-soak it with water before packing.

  • Remove any wilted or browned flowers (they can cause mold during transit).

3. Packaging

  • Use a sturdy box, slightly larger than the bouquet/arrangement.

  • Line the box with a plastic bag or liner in case of water leakage.

  • Place flowers upright if possible, secured with bubble wrap, kraft paper, or air pillows to prevent shifting.

  • Add cold packs wrapped in paper towels (never touching the petals directly). These help keep flowers cool in transit.

  • Clearly label the outside of the box:

    • Perishable – Live Flowers

    • Keep Cool – Do Not Freeze

    • This Side Up
